The new Pietro Coricelli seed oil range

Five references designed to accompany every moment in the kitchen, from frying to long cooking times and raw use.

There is not just one way to cook, just as there is not one single oil suited to every preparation. Every dish has its own rules, timing, temperatures and balance.

This awareness inspired the new Pietro Coricelli Seed Oil range, designed to accompany every recipe with the most suitable oil, enhancing flavours with balance and lightness. It is a complete and versatile range developed for different uses, where choosing the right product becomes the key element in obtaining a well-balanced and flavourful dish.

Seed oils are increasingly present on Italian tables, but it is important to understand the characteristics of the different products in order to choose the one best suited to the dish being prepared and the cooking technique,” explains Chiara Coricelli, CEO and President of Pietro Coricelli. “The new range was created precisely with this objective: to offer a complete assortment and explain the different oils that can accompany every preparation, from frying to more delicate cooking methods and even raw use.

The range consists of five references. Sunflower seed oil is the most versatile ally: with its mild, delicate flavour, it naturally accompanies everyday preparations. Thanks to its high smoke point, it is ideal for crispy frying, light sautéing and oven cooking. Its balanced taste also makes it perfect for raw use, in sauces and dressings that accompany ingredients without altering their flavour. It is rich in vitamin E, which helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

When frying takes centre stage, Friggiamo comes into play, developed specifically to guarantee high performance even at high temperatures. Obtained from a high-oleic sunflower variety, it ensures an optimal balance between cooking performance and nutritional values. With its delicate, light flavour, it allows for crispy, golden and highly digestible fried foods without overpowering the original flavours of the ingredients. It is also rich in unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E.

For dishes that require freshness and lightness, corn seed oil is naturally suited to raw use. Pale yellow in colour and light on the palate, it discreetly accompanies salads, vegetables and cold dishes, enhancing the ingredients without overpowering them. It is a versatile and functional product, also appreciated for its high content of unsaturated fatty acids.

In preparations that require longer cooking times and high temperatures, such as deep frying or prolonged cooking, peanut seed oil best expresses its characteristics. Clear, light in color and mild in flavour, it guarantees stability and uniformity during cooking, preserving the qualities of the food and ensuring dry, balanced frying. It is also rich in unsaturated fatty acids.

Completing the range is Viviamo, a blend designed for those seeking well-being and lightness without giving up taste. The combination of avocado oil, grapeseed oil and sunflower oil makes it balanced and versatile, with a fresh, light flavour that enhances dishes and gives a lively sensation in the mouth. Characterised by a balanced nutritional profile, it is perfect for dressing salads, for fresh recipes and for delicate cooking, especially with fish.

There is also news on the packaging front: all references are offered in a 1-liter bottle made of 100% recycled PET plastic, with a shape designed to make it easier to grip and safe to use during preparation, while also ensuring strength, stability and high shelf visibility. Each oil is immediately recognisable thanks to a distinctive color consistent with the raw material, while the front of the pack indicates the recommended uses to guide consumers in choosing the most suitable oil for each preparation.

The new Pietro Coricelli Seed Oil range is available in the main large-scale retail chains.
